Fortitude Valley, Newstead, Milton and South Brisbane are all priced the same as the CBD. Hamilton and Portside are $85 — closer to the airport. Larger parties: our 18-seat mini coach is quoted per job — ask on the charter page.

Against the Airtrain

The Airtrain runs from both terminals to Central and Roma Street and it is quick. For one person with a laptop bag heading to a CBD hotel, it is the sensible choice and we will not pretend otherwise.

It stops being the sensible choice at about three people, because the Airtrain is priced per passenger and we are priced per vehicle. Three people to the CBD is $95 in total. It also stops being sensible with real luggage, with a client in tow, after the last service, or when your hotel is a walk from the station with two suitcases in Brisbane humidity.

Landing late? There is no after-hours surcharge on any route we run, so a 2am arrival into BNE is the same $95 as a Tuesday lunchtime. International arrivals also get 60 minutes of free waiting after landing rather than 30, because immigration and baggage at BNE regularly take longer than an hour on a full widebody.

Which terminal, and where you are met

Brisbane Airport has separate domestic and international terminals about two kilometres apart. Your booking records which one from your flight number, so your chauffeur is waiting in the right building rather than calling you from the other end of the airport.

You are met inside arrivals with a name board, and you get your chauffeur's name and mobile number before the day. If you have an international arrival connecting to a domestic flight, give us both numbers — the terminal transfer is short but the timing matters and dispatch would rather know than guess.

Business travel

The CBD run is most of our Brisbane account work. A GST tax invoice is emailed automatically with every completed trip, bookings can carry a cost centre or client reference, and approved accounts are invoiced monthly instead of paying per trip. Executive assistants booking for other people get passenger vouchers and free changes up to 24 hours out, which is what makes a moved meeting painless. The detail is on the corporate transfers page.

Questions

Is the Gateway toll extra?

No. Tolls and GST are inside the quoted fare on every route we publish, and nothing is added at the end of the trip.

How long does it really take?

Twenty to thirty minutes via the Gateway and the airport link in normal conditions, longer in weekday peak. On departures we recommend a pick-up time built back from your check-in cut-off with that buffer in it.

Can you collect from a CBD hotel at 4am?

Yes, 24 hours a day, at the same fare. Early departures are ordinary work and there is no night rate.

Do you go to South Bank and the convention centre?

Yes — South Brisbane is priced the same $95 as the CBD, which covers South Bank and the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

What about the cruise terminal?

That is at Pinkenba, near the airport rather than the city. A fixed fare of $120 from the CBD in a sedan. See cruise transfers.
