Movie World, Dreamworld, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild — door to gate in a private vehicle, at a fixed price, with child seats fitted before we arrive.
Get your fixed priceThey are not in one place, which is the thing that catches most families out when they book accommodation. Three separate locations, and the fare follows whichever suburb you are going to.
Theme park transfers are priced on the suburb the park sits in, using the same published fares as everything else. One way, per vehicle, GST and tolls included.
| Park | Suburb | From Gold Coast Airport | From Brisbane Airport |
|---|---|---|---|
| Movie World / Wet'n'Wild | Oxenford | $145 | $210 |
| Dreamworld / WhiteWater World | Coomera | $155 | $195 |
| Sea World | Main Beach | $125 | $245 |
Sedan fares, 1–3 passengers. A minivan for a family of six to Movie World from Gold Coast Airport is $185; a Sprinter 14-seater is $305. Every vehicle class and both directions are on the full price list. Larger parties: our 18-seat mini coach is quoted per job — ask on the charter page.
Note which airport you are flying into. Dreamworld is cheaper from Brisbane than from the Gold Coast, and Sea World is the reverse — it is about which end of the M1 the park sits at. If your flights are not booked yet, that is worth thirty seconds of thought.
Plenty of these bookings are not from an airport at all. They are from an apartment in Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach to a park gate at 9am and back at closing, because a family of five with a pram does not fit in one rideshare and the tram does not go to Oxenford.
Book both legs at once and the return is locked in at the same fixed price — which matters most at 5pm, when every family in the car park is trying to get a ride at the same moment and surge pricing is doing exactly what it is designed to do.
If you are doing two parks in a day, or want the vehicle to stay with you, hourly charter is usually better value than separate transfers. That is on the charters page.
Capsules, convertible seats and boosters are $15 each and are professionally fitted before your chauffeur arrives. They must be booked with the vehicle. Queensland restraint law is not negotiable and a seat that was not booked cannot be conjured up in the drop-off zone.
Prams travel free where they fit, and in a minivan or Sprinter they always do. If you are bringing a double pram plus a day's worth of bags, say so — the $30 luggage trailer exists for exactly this and is cheaper than a second vehicle.
Yes, and booking the return in advance is the point. The parks close at a known time and the pick-up is scheduled against it, so you are not competing with several thousand other people for a car at 5pm.
No. The fare is set by suburb and vehicle class only — no surge, no holiday loading, no after-hours rate. Sprinters do book out in school holidays though, so book earlier rather than cheaper.
They are about ten minutes apart on the M1, so it is a practical day. For that pattern ask about hourly charter rather than three separate transfers — it usually costs less and the vehicle waits with you.
Up to 14 in a Sprinter, with 15 bags, on one booking and one fare. Extended families and school groups run this way regularly.
Both legs priced up front, child seats added at booking, and free to change up to 24 hours before pick-up.
