How much is minibus hire in Brisbane?

A Sprinter mini bus charters from $640 for a half day and $1,160 for a full day, driver included. If what you need is one airport run rather than a day's hire, book it as a transfer instead and it costs less: Brisbane Airport to the CBD is $180 in the Sprinter 10 and $255 in the Sprinter 14, fixed, which is about $18 a head with ten on board.

Do you hire out minibuses for self-drive?

No. Every minibus and coach we run comes with a professional chauffeur — we are not a self-drive rental company. If you want to drive the vehicle yourself a rental firm is what you need, and we would rather say so now than waste your time. What we do instead is put the driver, fuel, tolls and GST into one fixed price.

How much does bus hire cost on the Gold Coast in 2026?

Our Sprinter mini buses charter from $640 for a half day and $1,160 for a full day; the 53-seat luxury coach from $1,550 half day and $2,300 full day. One-way airport group transfers start at $165 (Sprinter 10) and $700 (coach). Every quote is all-inclusive — driver, fuel, tolls and GST.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle — one fixed price covers the whole group. A full 14-seat Sprinter often works out cheaper per person than rideshares, with everyone travelling together.

Do you use subcontractors or brokers?

No. Every charter runs on a vehicle Sky Transfers owns, driven by our own professional chauffeurs. The vehicle in your quote is the vehicle that arrives.

Which bus size should I book for a wedding?

For up to 14 guests per trip, the Sprinter 14-Seater is our most-booked wedding vehicle; for 40+ guests moving at once, the 53-seat coach shuttles everyone in one run. Tell us your guest count and venues and we'll recommend the cheapest combination.

Do you run Gold Coast to Brisbane and Byron Bay charters?

Yes — Brisbane Airport, the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, Byron Bay and Tamborine Mountain are all regular runs. Cross-border and hinterland itineraries are quoted individually, usually within the hour.

Can we bring drinks on board?

Water and soft drinks, absolutely. For alcohol, Queensland rules apply and it depends on the vehicle and occasion — ask when booking and we'll confirm what's possible for your charter.

How far ahead should we book a charter?
