What it costs

These are the fares the booking form quotes, not estimates. The last column is what the Sprinter 10 works out at per person with ten aboard — the number worth holding against whatever else you are considering.

Per vehicle, not per person. GST, tolls, driver, meet & greet and 30 minutes’ airport waiting are all inside the figure (60 minutes on international arrivals at Brisbane). Child seats $15 each. The same fare applies at 4am as at midday. Every suburb we price is on the full fare list.

What Gold Coast groups actually book

Weddings. Our most-booked group job on the coast. A Sprinter 14 moves the bridal party, then shuttles guests between the venue and the accommodation so nobody drives. Tell us the guest count and the venues and we will work out the cheapest combination of runs rather than the most vehicles.

Theme parks. Movie World, Dreamworld and Wet’n’Wild sit along the northern corridor, and a minibus takes the prams, the bags and everyone in one vehicle. Child seats are $15 each and fitted before we arrive.

Airport groups. Gold Coast Airport to Broadbeach is $200 in the Sprinter 10, about $20 a head with ten travelling, for 28 km and half an hour. Coolangatta is 1.7 km from the terminal and $165, which is the cheapest group run we publish anywhere.

Golf, hens and bucks, and race weekends. Clubs and functions where the whole point is that nobody has to be the designated driver. The fare is identical at 2am and at midday, so a late finish costs no more than an early one.

Which size do you need?

Rideshare caps out well below this. An XL seats six and a standard car four, so a party of ten is two or three vehicles, two or three fares and two or three arrival times. One minibus is one price and everybody arrives together.

How much is bus hire on the Gold Coast?

For a point-to-point run it is a fixed fare by suburb: Gold Coast Airport to Broadbeach is $200 in the Sprinter 10 and $275 in the Sprinter 14, GST included. Coolangatta starts at $165. For a full day, Sprinter charters run from $640 a half day and $1,160 a full day, and the 53-seat coach from $1,550. The driver is inside every one of those figures.

Do you hire out minibuses for self-drive?

No. Every minibus and coach we run comes with a professional chauffeur. If you want to drive it yourself you need a rental company, not us, and we would rather tell you now.

Which size should I book for a wedding?

For up to fourteen guests a trip, the Sprinter 14 is the one we send most often. For forty or more moving at once, the 53-seat coach does it in a single run. Send us the guest count and the venues and we will quote the cheapest combination.

Is a minibus cheaper than several rideshares?

Usually, past about six people, and the gap widens as the group grows. A rideshare XL seats six, so ten people means two cars at two fares set at the moment you travel. Ours is one vehicle at one price agreed in advance, around $20 a head to Broadbeach with ten aboard.

Do you run Gold Coast to Brisbane Airport and Byron Bay?

Yes. Brisbane Airport, the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, Byron Bay and Tamborine Mountain are all regular group runs. Byron is in New South Wales, which keeps daylight saving when Queensland does not, so in summer we work the times out for you.

How far ahead should I book?

Online bookings close six hours before pick-up. Weddings and school-holiday dates are best locked in two to four weeks ahead because we only have so many large vehicles. Inside six hours, call +61 481 437 772 and we will take it if something is free.
